Hi folks.
I stumbled upon your product and was grateful to see that soemone has written an nlm that will grab netware log data ans send it to an external syslog server!
One question. I am sending log data from a test netware server to my linux syslog server but I don't see a host name listed when I pull up my syslog web interface (using phplogcon). I see the date (ex. 15/04/2010) in the hsor column instead of an ip address or DNS name for my netware server.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks.

There are two ways:
1. i can modify fadmnexp.nlm to comply rfc5424.
2. you can modify your scripts for correct parsing of non-rfc5424 messages received from fadmnexp.nlm and stored in your syslog.
I'll try to complete 1st position as soon as possible |

What kind of message parser you use for parsing messages from fadmnexp?
Datagram Syslog Agent Message Parser ? |
